The Palmetto Tigers basketball team scored 57 points and held the host IMG Academy Gray Ascenders to 42 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Tigers now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to IMG Academy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 23. Palmetto will play a Ascenders squad coming off a 91-49 non-league win over Bilingual Christian Academy & Tech (Kissimmee, FL). The Ascenders record now stands at 10-7.
Next up, the Ascenders play the Halifax Academy Knights (Daytona Beach, FL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 25. IMG Academy Gray will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 17-3 record after their 89-49 non-league win over Beacon of Hope Christian (St. Augustine, FL).
