With the victory, Tatum upgrades its record to 15-7 on the campaign. The Eagles host Troup (Troup, TX) to play the Tigers in a 3A Region II District 16 bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 21-5. Troup lost 62-59 in their recent league bout against Jefferson (Jefferson, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Elysian Fields Yellowjackets (Elysian Fields, TX) in a 3A Region II District 16 bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 18-5 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the bout with a 10-7 record after their 42-37 league win over West Rusk (New London, TX).
