In Saturday's non-league outing, the Mesa Vista Trojans (Ojo Caliente, NM) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Jemez Valley Warriors (Jemez Pueblo, NM), by a margin of 74-33.
The Trojans (11-4) will now prepare for their outing against McCurdy (Espanola, NM). The Bobcats go into the 2A District 5 match with a 8-7 record.
With the defeat, Jemez Valley moves to 4-8 on the year. The Warriors travel to Socorro (Socorro, NM) to meet the Warriors in a non-league match on Friday, January 26. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 3-11.
