In Saturday's non-league outing, the West Hall Spartans (Oakwood, GA) basketball squad beat the host Johnson Knights (Gainesville, GA), by a margin of 57-41.
The Spartans (5-13) will now prepare for their outing against Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA). The Indians go into the AAA Region 7 outing with a 9-10 record. In their last outing, Lumpkin County defeated Wesleyan (Norcross, GA), 46-42, in a league outing.
The Knights now own a 0-18 record. They play next when they travel to North Hall for a AAAA Region 8 outing on Tuesday, January 23. Johnson will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 83-76 league win over Chestatee (Gainesville, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 9-11.
