The Jones Longhorns basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Mount St. Mary Rockets to 35 in the Longhorns league triumph on Saturday.
The Longhorns now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host McLoud for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 23. Jones will meet a Redskins team coming off a 62-61 non-league loss to Holdenville (Holdenville, OK). The Redskins record now stands at 13-3.
The Rockets (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Harrah (Harrah, OK). The Panthers enter the Freelance contest with a 0-14 record. In their last contest, Harrah was defeated by Altus (Altus, OK), 64-50, in a non-league contest.
