Monroe Township Falcons (Monroe Township, NJ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host J.P. Stevens Hawks (Edison, NJ), 46-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Monroe Township upgrades its record to 11-4 on the season. The Falcons travel to Piscataway (Piscataway, NJ) to play the Chiefs in a Greater Middlesex - Red bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Chiefs go into the bout with a record of 6-9.

Next up, the Hawks play the Edison Eagles (Edison, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 22. J.P. Stevens will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 4-11 record after their 69-54 non-league loss to South Plainfield (South Plainfield, NJ).
