Konawa Tigers (Konawa, OK) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Moss Pirates (Holdenville, OK), 53-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Konawa upgrades its record to 4-10 on the season. The Tigers travel to Latta (Ada, OK) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 8-9. Latta lost 40-31 in their recent non-league bout against Eufaula (Eufaula, OK)

Next up, the Pirates clash with the Kinta Eagles (Kinta, OK) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 26. Moss will attempt to upgrade on its 6-13 season record.
