Lone Pine Golden Eagles (Lone Pine, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Tonopah Muckers (Tonopah, NV), 47-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lone Pine upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Golden Eagles host Trona (Trona, CA) to clash with the Tornadoes in a Hi-Lo bout on Monday, January 22. The Tornadoes go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Trona won 76-30 in their recent league bout against Owens Valley (Independence, CA)

Next up, the Muckers clash with the Spring Mountain Eagles (Las Vegas, NV) in a 1A Central bout, on Friday, January 26. Tonopah will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 8-3 record after their 57-55 league win over Round Mountain (Round Mountain, NV).
