With the win, Mineral Ridge upgrades its record to 5-9 on the season. The Rams host McDonald (McDonald, OH) to play the Blue Devils in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 7-7. McDonald lost 54-51 in their recent league bout against Lowellville (Lowellville, OH)

Next up, the Red Dragons play the Poland Seminary Bulldogs (Poland, OH) in a Northeast 8 bout, on Tuesday, January 23. McKinley will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 10-3 record after their 47-26 league win over Girard (Girard, OH).
