    The Oglethorpe County Patriots basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Tallulah Falls Indians to 39 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Saturday.

    The Patriots now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Prince Avenue Christian for a A D1 Region 5 contest on Tuesday, January 23. Oglethorpe County will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 56-41 non-league loss to Loganville (Loganville, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 6-12.

    The Indians (4-15) will now prepare for their contest against Rabun County (Tiger, GA). The Wildcats enter the A D1 Region 8 contest with a 7-13 record. In their last contest, Rabun County ran past Elbert County (Elberton, GA), 79-61, in a league contest.
