Mississippi High School Basketball - Park Place Christian Academy knocked off by Wayne Academy

The Wayne Academy Jaguars basketball team scored 35 points and held the visiting Park Place Christian Academy Crusaders to 24 in the Jaguars league triumph on Saturday.
The Jaguars now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Rankin Academy for a MAIS 5A District 2 contest on Tuesday, January 23. Wayne Academy will battle a Patriots team coming off a 62-26 league loss to Lamar (Meridian, MS). The Patriots record now stands at 0-13.
The Crusaders (14-10) will now prepare for their match against Lamar (Meridian, MS). The Raiders enter the MAIS 5A District 2 match with a 9-15 record. In their last match, Lamar knocked off East Rankin Academy (Pelahatchie, MS), 62-26, in a league match.
