Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the St. Anselm's Abbey Panthers (Washington, DC) and the visiting Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering Panthers (Washington, DC), saw St. Anselm's Abbey's basketball squad knock off Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering by a count of 62-48.

With the victory, St. Anselm's Abbey upgrades its record to 3-12 on the campaign. The Panthers host Avalon (Wheaton, MD) to play the Black Knights in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 22. The Black Knights come into the challenge with a record of 2-9. Avalon lost 97-47 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Albans (Washington, DC)

Next up, the Panthers play the Anacostia Indians (Washington, DC) in a DCSAA A challenge, on Wednesday, January 24. Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record.
