Nebraska High School Basketball - Wakefield overwhelmed by Ponca

The Ponca Indians basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Wakefield Trojans to 26 in the Indians non-league victory on Saturday.

The Indians now sport a 12-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cedar Catholic for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 23. Ponca will battle a Trojans team coming off a 60-51 non-league win over Guardian Angels Central Catholic (West Point, NE). The Trojans record now stands at 9-4.

The Trojans (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Crofton (Crofton, NE). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 5-8 record.
