Presbyterian Christian Bobcats (Hattiesburg, MS) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Provine Rams (Jackson, MS), 61-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Presbyterian Christian upgrades its record to 21-6 on the season. The Bobcats host Jackson Academy (Jackson, MS) to play the Raiders in a MAIS 6A District 1 bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 24-1. Jackson Academy won 80-48 in their recent non-league bout against Madison Central (Madison, MS)

Next up, the Rams play the Brookhaven Panthers (Brookhaven, MS) in a 5A Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Provine will attempt to upgrade on its 15-6 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 17-4 record after their 64-63 league win over South Jones (Ellisville, MS).
