Rutherford Bulldogs (Rutherford, NJ) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Weehawken Indians (Weehawken, NJ), 67-40 in a league bout.

With the victory, Rutherford upgrades its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Hasbrouck Heights (Hasbrouck Heights, NJ) to play the Aviators in a non-league bout on Sunday, January 21. The Aviators come into the bout with a record of 7-7. Hasbrouck Heights won 45-40 in their recent league bout against Bergen Charter (Hackensack, NJ)

Next up, the Indians play the McNair Academic Cougars (Jersey City, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 20. Weehawken will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 67-43 non-league loss to Memorial (West New York, NJ).
