St. Mary's Crusaders (Medford, OR) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host South Umpqua Lancers (Myrtle Creek, OR), 75-37 in a league bout.
With the win, St. Mary's upgrades its record to 8-8 on the season. The Crusaders host Coquille (Coquille, OR) to clash with the Red Devils in a 3A Far West bout on Friday, January 26. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 7-10.
Next up, the Lancers clash with the Brookings-Harbor Bruins (Brookings, OR) in a 3A Far West bout, on Tuesday, January 23. South Umpqua will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Bruins go into the bout with a 5-11 record after their 54-47 league win over Sutherlin (Sutherlin, OR).
