Illinois High School Basketball - St. Joseph-Ogden can't hold off St. Anthony

The St. Anthony Bulldogs basketball team scored 81 points and restricted the visiting St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans to 75 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Saturday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 19-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Casey-Westfield for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30. St. Anthony will battle a Warriors team coming off a 65-44 league loss to Richland County (Olney, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 11-7.
The Spartans (16-5) will now prepare for their contest against St. Thomas More (Champaign, IL). The Sabers come into the Illini Prairie contest with a 14-5 record. In their last contest, St. Thomas More edged Cornerstone Christian (Bloomington, IL), 44-35, in a non-league contest.
