Valley City Hi-Liners (Valley City, ND) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Stanley Blue Jays (Stanley, ND), 51-33 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Valley City upgrades its record to 5-8 on the season. The Hi-Liners travel to Killdeer (Killdeer, ND) to clash with the Cowboys in a non-league bout on Friday, January 26. The Cowboys go into the bout with a record of 8-4. Killdeer won 59-50 in their recent non-league bout against Belfield (Belfield, ND)
Next up, the Blue Jays clash with the Des Lacs-Burlington Lakers (Des Lacs, ND) in a A Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Stanley will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Lakers go into the bout with a 9-2 record after their 58-40 non-league win over Killdeer (Killdeer, ND).
