Illinois High School Basketball - Stark County routs Wethersfield

In Saturday's league outing, the Stark County Rebels (Toulon, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Wethersfield Flying Geese (Kewanee, IL), by a margin of 77-51.

The Rebels (11-8) will now prepare for their outing against Galva (Galva, IL). The Wildcats go into the Lincoln Trail outing with a 6-12 record. In their last outing, Galva was trounced by Annawan (Annawan, IL), 67-44, in a league outing.

The Flying Geese now own a 6-10 record. They play next when they travel to Biggsville West Central for a Lincoln Trail outing on Tuesday, January 23. Wethersfield will encounter a Heat squad coming off a 75-32 league loss to Mercer County (Aledo, IL). The Heat record now stands at 1-18.
