The West Monona Spartans basketball team (Onawa, IA), dropped 53-38 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Westwood Rebels (Sloan, IA)
The Rebels now possess a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Logan-Magnolia for a non-league battle on Monday, January 22. Westwood will battle a Panthers team coming off a 72-43 league loss to Treynor (Treynor, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 5-10.
The Spartans (6-7) will now prepare for their battle against West Sioux (Hawarden, IA). The Falcons come into the non-league battle with a 1-13 record. In their last battle, West Sioux dropped by Akron-Westfield (Akron, IA), 58-36, in a league battle.
