The Millbrook Wildcats basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders to 49 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Saturday.

The Wildcats now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wakefield for a contest on Tuesday, January 23. Millbrook will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 46-40 non-league win over Freshman Opponent (, ). The Wolverines record now stands at 9-6.

The Crusaders (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Clayton (Clayton, NC). The Comets come into the non-league contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Clayton was defeated by Cardinal Gibbons (Raleigh, NC), 54-47, in a non-league contest.
