In Saturday's non-league outing, the Andrew Thunderbolts (Tinley Park, IL) basketball squad edged the host Oak Lawn Spartans (Oak Lawn, IL), by a margin of 41-38.
The Thunderbolts (10-10) will now prepare for their outing against Stagg (Palos Hills, IL). The Chargers go into the SouthWest Suburban - Red outing with a 14-9 record. In their last outing, Stagg held off Oak Forest (Oak Forest, IL), 52-28, in a non-league outing.
The Spartans now own a 11-11 record. They play next when they host Thornton Fractional South for a South Suburban - Blue outing on Tuesday, January 23. Oak Lawn will clash with a Red Wolves squad coming off a 51-32 league win over Evergreen Park (Evergreen Park, IL). The Red Wolves record now stands at 13-9.
