Queen City Bulldogs (Queen City, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Atlanta Rabbits (Atlanta, TX), 58-55 in a league bout.

With the win, Queen City upgrades its record to 14-10 on the season. The Bulldogs host Hooks (Hooks, TX) to play the Hornets in a 3A Region II District 14 bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 24-4. Hooks won 56-16 in their recent league bout against Pewitt (Omaha, TX)

Next up, the Rabbits play the Redwater Dragons (Redwater, TX) in a 3A Region II District 14 bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Atlanta will attempt to upgrade on its 17-9 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 2-22 record after their 40-24 league win over Pewitt (Omaha, TX).
