Bangor Christian Patriots (Bangor, ME) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lee Academy Pandas (Lee, ME), 46-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Bangor Christian upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Patriots travel to Searsport (Searsport, ME) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 4-7. Searsport lost 37-32 in their recent non-league bout against Sumner (East Sullivan, ME)

Next up, the Pandas clash with the Schenck Wolverines (East Millinocket, ME) in a D North bout, on Monday, January 22. Lee Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Wolverines go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 50-16 non-league win over Greenville (Greenville, ME).
