The Barnwell Warhorses basketball team (Barnwell, SC), was nudged 45-39 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Williston-Elko Blue Devils (Williston, SC)
The Blue Devils now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host North for a A Region 4 battle on Monday, January 22. Williston-Elko will battle a Eagles team coming off a 50-45 league loss to Calhoun County (St. Matthews, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 3-11.
The Warhorses (1-11) will now prepare for their battle against Hampton County (Varnville, SC). The Hurricanes come into the AA Region 6 battle with a 9-7 record. In their last battle, Hampton County was nudged by Hilton Head Christian Academy (Hilton Head Island, SC), 65-38, in a non-league battle.
