The Buckingham Charter Knights basketball team (Vacaville, CA), was overwhelmed 51-12 in Saturday's league battle with the host Sacramento Adventist Capitals (Carmichael, CA)

The Capitals now possess a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Western Sierra Collegiate Academy for a Sacramento Metropolitan Athletic League battle on Monday, January 22. Sacramento Adventist will confront a Wolves team coming off a 63-43 league loss to Valley Christian (Roseville, CA). The Wolves record now stands at 12-7.

The Knights (1-10) will now prepare for their battle against Cristo Rey (Sacramento, CA). The Saints come into the Sacramento Metropolitan Athletic League battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Cristo Rey was overwhelmed by Sacramento Adventist (Carmichael, CA), 51-17, in a league battle.
