The Gabriel Richard Fighting Irish basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Central Catholic Fighting Irish to 46 in the Fighting Irish league triumph on Saturday.
The Fighting Irish now sport a 11-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Ursula Academy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 23. Gabriel Richard will meet a Arrows team coming off a 33-31 league win over St. Joseph Academy (Cleveland, OH). The Arrows record now stands at 1-9.
The Fighting Irish (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Marian (Bloomfield Hills, MI). The Mustangs enter the Catholic Central contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Marian was knocked off by Oxford (Oxford, MI), 46-40, in a non-league bout.
