Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Walt Whitman Wildcats (Huntington Station, NY) and the visiting Central Islip Musketeers (Central Islip, NY), saw Walt Whitman's basketball squad wallop Central Islip by a tally of 70-32.

With the victory, Walt Whitman improves its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Longwood (Middle Island, NY) to confront the Lions in a Section 11 AAA-1 challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Longwood lost 70-52 in their recent league challenge against William Floyd (Mastic Beach, NY)

Next up, the Musketeers confront the William Floyd Colonials (Mastic Beach, NY) in a Section 11 AAA-1 challenge, on Saturday, February 3. Central Islip will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
