Stanfield Tigers (Stanfield, OR) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Grant Union Prospectors (John Day, OR), 61-18 in a league bout.

With the win, Stanfield upgrades its record to 10-6 on the season. The Tigers host Heppner (Heppner, OR) to clash with the Mustangs in a 2A Blue Mountain bout on Monday, January 22. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 14-4.

Next up, the Prospectors clash with the Weston-McEwen TigerScots (Athena, OR) in a 2A Blue Mountain bout, on Monday, January 22. Grant Union will attempt to upgrade on its 1-16 season record.
