The Stone Mountain Pirates basketball team (Stone Mountain, GA), was routed 82-20 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Holy Innocents Episcopal Golden Bears (Atlanta, GA)

The Golden Bears now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stephenson for a AAAA Region 6 battle on Tuesday, January 23. Holy Innocents Episcopal will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 67-26 league loss to Southwest DeKalb (Decatur, GA). The Jaguars record now stands at 6-8.

The Pirates (3-11) will now prepare for their battle against Miller Grove (Lithonia, GA). The Wolverines come into the AAAA Region 6 battle with a 5-9 record. In their last battle, Miller Grove was routed by Southwest DeKalb (Decatur, GA), 82-26, in a league battle.
