Upton Bobcats (Upton, WY) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Kaycee Buckaroos (Kaycee, WY), 44-25 in a league bout.

With the victory, Upton upgrades its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Niobrara County (Lusk, WY) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 25. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 5-10. Niobrara County lost 38-31 in their recent non-league bout against Southeast (Yoder, WY)

Next up, the Buckaroos play the Tongue River Eagles (Dayton, WY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 25. Kaycee will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 12-2 record after their 40-22 league win over Wright (Wright, WY).
