Tri-Cities Bulldogs (East Point, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lithia Springs Lions (Lithia Springs, GA), 59-46 in a league bout.

With the win, Tri-Cities upgrades its record to 10-7 on the season. The Bulldogs host Creekside (Fairburn, GA) to clash with the Seminoles in a AAAAA Region 5 bout on Friday, January 26. The Seminoles go into the bout with a record of 13-4. Creekside won 61-59 in their recent league bout against Mays (Atlanta, GA)

Next up, the Lions clash with the Midtown Knights (Atlanta, GA) in a AAAAA Region 5 bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Lithia Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 15-3 record after their 79-43 league win over Chapel Hill (Douglasville, GA).
