The Marengo Panthers basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Millry Wildcats to 5 in the Panthers league triumph on Saturday.
The Panthers now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southern Choctaw for a 1A Area 4 contest on Tuesday, January 23. Marengo will meet a Indians team coming off a 50-20 league win over Millry (Millry, AL). The Indians record now stands at 7-3.
The Wildcats (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against McIntosh (McIntosh, AL). The Demons enter the non-league contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, McIntosh triumphed over Leroy (Leroy, AL), 24-20, in a league contest.
