The Moses Lake Mavericks basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the visiting Wenatchee Panthers to 40 in the Mavericks league victory on Saturday.
The Mavericks now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sunnyside for a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 contest on Friday, January 26. Moses Lake will battle a Grizzlies team coming off a 53-22 league loss to West Valley (Yakima, WA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 3-13.
The Panthers (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against Eastmont (East Wenatchee, WA). The Wildcats come into the 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, Eastmont prevailed over Moses Lake (Moses Lake, WA), 40-38, in a league contest.
