The North Linn Lynx (Troy Mills, IA) basketball nipped the host Regina Regals (Iowa City, IA), 53-48 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Lynx (14-1) will now prepare for their test against Central City (Central City, IA). The Wildcats go into the Tri-Rivers - West test with a 5-10 record. In their last test, Central City was tipped by Edgewood-Colesburg (Edgewood, IA), 48-34, in a league test.
The Regals now own a 11-3 record. They play next when they travel to Tipton for a River Valley - South test on Tuesday, January 23. Regina will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 42-24 league win over Wilton (Wilton, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 10-3.
