Waynedale Golden Bears (Apple Creek, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Rittman Indians (Rittman, OH), 73-21 in a league bout.

With the win, Waynedale upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Golden Bears host Hillsdale (Jeromesville, OH) to clash with the Falcons in a Wayne County bout on Thursday, January 25. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 4-11.

Next up, the Indians clash with the Aquinas Knights (Louisville, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 22. Rittman will attempt to upgrade on its 1-13 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 5-8 record after their 56-51 non-league loss to Sandy Valley (Magnolia, OH).
