In Saturday's non-league outing, the Tri-Valley Mustangs (Colton, SD) basketball squad beat the host Sergeant Bluff-Luton Warriors (Sergeant Bluff, IA), by a margin of 57-47.

The Mustangs (4-5) will now prepare for their outing against Canton (Canton, SD). The C-Hawks go into the non-league outing with a 5-4 record. In their last outing, Canton defeated Beresford (Beresford, SD), 74-48, in a league outing.

The Warriors now own a 1-10 record. They play next when they travel to Jefferson for a Missouri River outing on Tuesday, January 23. Sergeant Bluff-Luton will clash with a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 72-19 non-league loss to St. Albert (Council Bluffs, IA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 1-10.
