In Saturday's league outing, the Tongue River Eagles (Dayton, WY) basketball squad beat the host Wright Panthers (Wright, WY), by a margin of 40-22.

The Eagles (12-2) will now prepare for their outing against Kaycee (Kaycee, WY). The Buckaroos go into the non-league outing with a 2-8 record. In their last outing, Kaycee was beaten by Upton (Upton, WY), 44-25, in a league outing.

The Panthers now own a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Big Horn for a 2A Northeast outing on Friday, January 26. Wright will clash with a Rams squad coming off a 49-41 league loss to Sundance (Sundance, WY). The Rams record now stands at 2-11.
