Temecula Prep Patriots (Winchester, CA) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host California Military Institute Rough Riders (Perris, CA), 2-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Patriots confront the Desert Christian Academy Conquerors (Bermuda Dunes, CA) in a South Valley challenge, on Wednesday, January 24. Temecula Prep will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record. The Conquerors enter the challenge with a 2-10 record after their 5-1 league loss to San Jacinto Valley Academy (San Jacinto, CA).

The Rough Riders now have a 6-9 record. They take the field next when they host Nuview Bridge for a South Valley challenge on Thursday, January 25. California Military Institute will confront a Knights team coming off a 5-0 league win over Hamilton (Anza, CA). The Knights record now stands at 11-6.
