The Clay Eagles trounced the host Varsity Opponent ice hockey squad by a tally of 9-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
With the victory, Clay betters its record to 21-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Troy (Troy, OH) to confront the Trojans in a non-league bout on Friday, January 26. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Troy lost 4-2 in their recent non-league bout against Clay (Oregon, OH)
The now have a 22-44 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Hampton School for a non-league bout on Sunday, January 21. Varsity Opponent will confront a Huskies squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Vermont Academy (Saxtons River, VT). The Huskies record now stands at 7-10.
