With the victory, Manistee moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Chippewas host Summit Academy (Romulus, MI) to face the Dragons in a Independent contest on Thursday, February 1. The Dragons go into the contest with a record of 9-10.

The Dragons now sport a 9-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cheboygan for a Independent contest on Tuesday, January 23. Summit Academy will face a Chiefs squad coming off a 4-3 league win over Big Rapids (Big Rapids, MI). The Chiefs record now stands at 6-0.
