Eastlake Titans (Chula Vista, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Coronado Islanders (Coronado, CA), 50-16 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Eastlake upgrades its record to 13-8 on the season. The Titans host Olympian (Chula Vista, CA) to clash with the Eagles in a bout on Wednesday, January 24. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 12-0. Olympian won 58-26 in their recent non-league bout against Morse (San Diego, CA)

Next up, the Islanders clash with the Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Coronado will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Pointers come into the challenge with a 11-8 record after their 60-57 league win over Canyon Hills (San Diego, CA).
