With the victory, Homestead upgrades its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Cupertino (Cupertino, CA) to play the Pioneers in a bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Pioneers come into the bout with a record of 2-11. Cupertino lost 47-34 in their recent league bout against Saratoga (Saratoga, CA)

Next up, the Matadors play the Santa Clara Bruins (Santa Clara, CA) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Monta Vista will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record. The Bruins come into the bout with a 2-9 record after their 68-61 league loss to Fremont (Sunnyvale, CA).
