Nevada High School Basketball - Spanish Springs triumphant over Carson

The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Spanish Springs Cougars (Sparks, NV) and the host Carson Senators (Carson City, NV), observed Spanish Springs's basketball team overwhelm Carson by a score of 61-18.

The Cougars (15-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Galena (Reno, NV). The Grizzlies come into the 4A Northern challenge with a 7-12 record. In their last challenge, Galena was routed by McQueen (Reno, NV), 70-57, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Senators battle the Reno Huskies (Reno, NV) in a 4A Northern challenge, on Wednesday, January 22. Carson will attempt to improve on its 6-14 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 13-7 record after their 50-34 league win over Douglas (Minden, NV).
