Vermont High School Basketball - St. Johnsbury Academy defeats Champlain Valley Union

The St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers (St. Johnsbury, VT) basketball were winner over the visiting Champlain Valley Union Redhawks (Hinesburg, VT), 55-38 in Monday's league bout.

The Hilltoppers now possess a 8-4 record. They play next when they host Colchester for a Metro bout on Thursday, January 23. St. Johnsbury Academy will play a Lakers team coming off a 71-34 league loss to South Burlington (South Burlington, VT). The Lakers record now stands at 3-9.

With the loss, Champlain Valley Union falls to 6-5 on the campaign. The Redhawks host Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans, VT) to play the Bobwhites/Comets in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 23.
