The Corning Bobcats (Corning, AR) basketball toppled the visiting Cross County Thunderbirds (Cherry Valley, AR), 66-50 in Monday's league bout.
The Bobcats now possess a 7-11 record. They play next when they travel to East Poinsett County for a 2A Region 3 bout on Wednesday, January 22. Corning will play a Warriors team coming off a 70-66 league win over Rector (Rector, AR). The Warriors record now stands at 13-5.
With the loss, Cross County falls to 3-12 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds travel to Ridgefield Christian (Jonesboro, AR) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 11-14.
