In Monday's non-league test, the East Lawrence Eagles (Trinity, AL) basketball squad defeated the host Hatton Hornets (Town Creek, AL), by a final score of 62-49.
Next, the Eagles clash with the Priceville Bulldogs (Priceville, AL) in a non-league test, on Monday, January 27. East Lawrence will attempt to upgrade on its 11-13 season record.
The Hornets (2-19) will now prepare for their test against Deshler (Tuscumbia, AL). The Tigers come into the 4A Area 14 test with a 12-10 record. In their last test, Deshler went down by Florence (Florence, AL), 74-52, in a non-league test.
