Erskine Academy Eagles (South China, ME) supporters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Waterville Panthers (Waterville, ME), 56-46 in a non-league test.

Next, the Eagles clash with the Leavitt Hornets (Turner, ME) in a non-league test, on Thursday, January 23. Erskine Academy will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Hornets come into the test with a 6-8 record after their 73-48 league loss to Spruce Mountain (Jay, ME).

The Panthers (2-11) will now prepare for their test against Mount View (Thorndike, ME). The Mustangs come into the non-league test with a 7-8 record. In their last test, Mount View went down by Leavitt (Turner, ME), 44-43, in a non-league test.
