The Wildcats now possess a 13-6 record. They play next when they travel to Sumter Central for a 3A Area 7 bout on Tuesday, January 21. Hale County will play a Jaguars team coming off a 91-57 league win over Greensboro (Greensboro, AL). The Jaguars record now stands at 6-7.

With the loss, Sipsey Valley falls to 8-12 on the campaign. The Bears travel to John Carroll Catholic (Birmingham, AL) to play the Cavaliers in a 5A Area 9 bout on Friday, January 24. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 9-13.
