In Monday's league contest, the Perkins County Plainsmen (Grant, NE) basketball team overwhelmed the visiting Hershey Panthers (Hershey, NE), by a margin of 70-45.
The Plainsmen (10-3) will now prepare for their contest against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, NE). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Bridgeport was trounced by Kimball (Kimball, NE), 52-50, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers confront the Chase County Longhorns (Imperial, NE) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 24. Hershey will attempt to better on its 2-10 season record. The Longhorns go into the contest with a 6-8 record after their 59-48 non-league loss to St. Patrick's (North Platte, NE).
